Dark and dreary
Shadows loom
Clouds cover the sun
No light shines

The world darkens
Sadness falls, like tears
Splattering upon the ground
The shadows press in

I look at the sky
Clouds, ragged and torn
Dark and angry
No light shines

I look within
Such wondrous, pure light
The Light of Your Love
Lights my path

I need not wander
I need not doubt
I need not stray
I need only see the path

The Light, it shines
Brighter than the sun
The clouds matter not
The Light of the Son illumines all

The clouds begin to break
The shadows part
The sunlight falls to earth, welcome
The tears of sadness cease

The world gladdens
The darkness fades
The Light shines
