Have Faith, Friend (Heart Sorrow Cure)
Tears of despair gently roll off your cheeks,
Falling towards the ground,
Reflecting the sunlight, sparkling, shining,
Before soaking the dark soil with sorrow.
I cannot wipe away your tears,
No matter how much my heart wishes to,
I can soothe your sorrow with words,
But I cannot remove it entirely.
Do not despair!
I have seen but a glimpse,
Though it be a glimpse in my own Scope,
It is a glimpse of something I think...
I feel
I know
I trust
Is within your Path of Vision
I have seen a cause of hope,
Merely a glimpse, fleeting,
Gone as soon as I saw it,
But it was there.
It was there.
Truth cannot be denied.
And such hope it instills within me
That I am filled with it to the very core of my being
At times, it is as if
I am living not here
I am living Elsewhere
Enfolded and caressed by the cares of Love
Ah, such sweet hopes have I seen
But only sweeter is the Truth
That with Faith, resolute and strong
Enduring all
With such Faith,
Then my Hopes,
Will finally result
In the Love past coincidence.
And I know that it is True for you as well
It lies within your Path of Vision
Have faith, friend, do not despair
Believe and so shall things be
Such a simple promise
Makes many hearts laugh
They do not believe that it could be true
Thus they are deceived
Do not be deceived
Simple truths are Truths nonetheless
And so, we must strive to continue
To Hope for Faith
For without Faith we cannot attain
That which we so fervently desire
But such Faith lies not within us
I do not have such Faith in my being
Doubt ever gnaws at my heart
Placed there, perhaps,
by one I see not, lurking in shadows,
Ever to destroy, to crush, to ruin
I must endure,
I cannot endure,
I cannot surrender,
I must surrender
But not to the one of the shadows
No, for that would but give him glee
I must surrender my doubt, my mistrust, my failings
All these at the feet of the One of Light
And thus am I freed
And thus do I conquer
Riding upon the rays of the dawn
Ascending up through the very sky
Verily, it is Faith that causes
Tears to cease their solemn, sad march to the soil
And to uplift voices in joy, in gladness, in mirth
For the assurances that are given cannot be refuted
Scope of Path of Vision sees True
What we ask for, we shall receive
If we but only believe
Have faith, friend
