Hungry Fisherman

no time
gotta run
go go go
life zooms by

sorry, can't help
no, i have no time
nope, none at all
all gone now, bye

so i said to myself
pitiful fool
am I
all too often

I told myself lies
And took them as truths
I have no time I said
No time I had

Self-fulfilling prophecies
Self-denying destinies
Not embracing the Destiny
The Perfectly Created Path

The Way
The Truth
The Life
Forgotten

I was like a fisherman
So caught up in setting sail
So caught up in making his schedule
That he forgot to prepare his nets

The result?
No nets.
No fish.
Hungry fisherman

Hungry fisherman am I
standing before you
Teach me, Lord
Guide me, Lord

Once again, You take me back
When I confess the Truth
Your Power surges through me
Filling My Being, Giving Me Strength

It is clean, it is pure
It flows out of within
But it is within outside of me
From the Lord Almighty, Jesus Christ

Lord, let this hungry fisherman
Take the time to prepare his nets
Give him wisdom, give him strength
Let him endure -- nay! let him prevail over every storm

Give my sails winds that lift my boat
To the richest seas
And there, let me cast my nets, well-prepared,
I reap the harvest of the sea of life
