Waves of Time (Redux)
how laughable now i seem
looking back upon myself
such a fool have i been
wandering the lands blind
eyes tightly shut
unwilling to see Truth
selling time to Satan
wasting my life away
Thank God I'm back
Thank God He's opened my eyes again
Thank God I see once again
Thank God I am alive
Such mercy
Such love
Such grace
Who but God can grant?
Praise Him will I
Not merely with words
But with deeds
Actions, tasks, my will His
My life I lay at His cross
I shall live the way He planned
at the very moment of Creation
I shall live my life, His gift
Bought at a price
Ransomed away with body and blood
My life is not mine to waste
I cannot throw it away in my haste
Time is precious
It is the blood and water of life
It flows through human hands
Never stopping, never halting, speeding onward
I must ride the waves of Time
Placing my feet upon the tumultous waters
Listening to His Voice, having His Faith
Trusting that I can walk on water
My life is not my own
Bought by body and blood
With Him, I can walk on water
I ride the very waves of Time
