Show Them the Light

Forsooth! decried the herald
News dark to my ear has come!

Sadly I must state that truth has been forgotten!
And none may now find the light for the world has gone dark
Shall we ever know the light again?
Or shall we forever languish in the darkness,
blindly stumbling, fervently hoping,
that we shall not stumble and fall into
a black pit of abyss

Or shall some turn face
and jump readily into the abyss
wondering whereupon they shall hit bottom
lured by the enticement into a trap

Forgotten Words shall sing again
Songs long lost shall play
Only I wish that all shall find the light
But sadly none who dwell in darkness can see
Blinking they come into the light, lost sadly

Only what has been forgotten?

Shall it ever be forgotten?
Only if time could tell!

Slay the stumbler
Slay the speakers
Slay those who know not the know

They say they knew
But they have forgotten
This descends into prattle and bother
Forgotten by the tongues of men
Lost, lost, lost are you found?

A lamp is needed in the darkness
I enjoy that which can see
but those who say "I will not see!"
Are blinded.

For that is the way... and none who deny the way
shall any deny longer

for the light shall come into their hearts
and they shall shine like the sun

blasting away blackness like a hydrogen bomb

none shall forget

none shall never remember

the light shall burn brightly in their soul

But can they? But will they?

How can they? Only by passing through crimson,
but can it be passed?
Crimson and salt... Salt and blood
Forgotten. Lost. Remembered now,
Shining Bright in the darkness,
Blazing like a torch in a dark cavern,
saving those who see it
Those who cringe in the corner with eyes
shut shall certainly not see,
they shall hear voices and think they
imagine them, they shall say,
'it is a trick' and so they shall not
cry out in gladness when the saving grace comes by,
they shall cringe away from what they think is the wind.

So now, go forth unto the world,
Light the torch of salvation
Blaze it brightly about the heights
and find those cringing souls
who cannot believe, will not believe

caught by the grip of the flaming one,
who shall be cast into the lake of fire

Wake them from their slumber,
Show them the light
And see the gladness in their soul,
when they behold their salvation
Go further now, people of the Lord,
Save the folk of the earth,
SHOW THEM THE LIGHT.
