Take a Look
- Listen to me read this poem.
Behind your eyes there is a sad doubt
Wondering whether the life you live
Devoid of meaning, to dust and ashes
Nothing to do, all accomplishments dust
For dark is the day when eyes are shut
When you cannot see, you can say
Anything about the world’s way
But anyhow, anyway it is wrong
Oh well, you say, so what?
Why should I care?
Life devoid of meaning
Crawling from a primordial soup
Breathing, walking,
Singing, talking
If only there was a reason
But who needs one?
He who dies with the most toys wins...
Nothing at all
Trapped as a mortal,
No way out
But a way that shines
With the light of no doubt
Up and away from the ruin
Towards a Maker divine
Long ago the world was crafted
Land rising from water
Made by an entity
Too divine to comprehend
Human mind, body and soul
All made by a God who really is there
You just can’t deny it
No matter how hard you try
There simply is just no way
Darkness cannot chase light
But the other way around works great
My eyes have no doubt
I’ve seen the Light of the Lord of All
Brighter than the Sun
Cause it is the Light of the Son
Come; take a look at the Light of Love
